An Insider's Look at Mormon Culture

When someone tells you they’re not racist—they are.

When someone tells you they have nothing against the Church—they have.

When someone tells you they really shouldn’t say anything—they really shouldn’t.

When someone tells you they vote for the candidate, not the party—they don’t.

When someone tells you they love the Constitution, they mean they love their interpretation of the Constitution.

When someone tells you, “Men and women are equal, but the men preside,” they mean, “Men are more equal.”

Why do people kid themselves like this? I don’t have this problem myself, but I do have a problem controlling my weight. And I don’t know why. I hardly eat a thing.

  1. I love this post.
I try to make a point to not be ‘anti’ anything, but rather ‘pro’-something else!
